06/09/2008 – The Mid Atlantic Air Museum in Reading, PA held its 19th annual WWII Weekend June 6-8 at the Reading Regional Airport.  Mt. Airy cadets and officers traveled to the grounds of the airshow’s host squadron, Reading Composite Squadron, and set up camp for the duration of the event.

Parking and crowd control were the orders of the weekend.  Mt. Airy cadets organized into formation early each morning, joining over 50 cadets from the Pennsylvania and Maryland Wings, and were tasked out into smaller groups for the day.  When duties were completed each day, CAP members had the opportunity to visit the various exhibits, tour aircraft, observe flight demonstrations and WWII re-enactments, and peruse the flea market.
