Mt. Airy Composite Squadron

04/26/2008 - Cadets Sean Barker, Zachary Bowen, and Joshua Newsome, and Officer Denise Sharp of the Mt. Airy Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, joined ground team members from the Maryland and West Virginia Wings in a search and rescue exercise (SAREX) held during the weekend of April 18-20, 2008.  Eligible cadets, Level GTM3 and higher,  were transported from Tipton Airport in Maryland to Petersburg/Grant County Airport in West Virginia via Maryland Army National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters.
