Cadets keep things moving at the Mt. Airy Expo

04/21/2008 – Mt. Airy, MD - On Saturday, April 19, 2008, Civil Air Patrol cadets from the Mt. Airy Composite Squadron helped out at the Discover Mt. Airy 2008 Community Expo.  This event was held at the Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Company’s activity grounds, and hosted by the Greater Mt. Airy Chamber of Commerce.  Ten cadets assisted with the day’s activities. Set-up began at 0800 hours.  Our duties included traffic control and parking, filling balloons, escorting VIP arrivals, and representing the squadron at our recruiting booth.
