Maryland Wing cadets take O-flight in KC-135 Tanker

07/19/06 - Cadets from Bethesda-Chevy Chase and Mt. Airy Composite Squadrons of the Civil Air Patrol had the opportunity this week to tour a KC-135 Tanker at Andrews AFB.

While this may sound like a treat to many an aircraft enthusiast, there was an added bonus waiting in the wings.  An orientation flight was planned, which included traveling to the skies above the coast of South Carolina, and taking part in the fueling of sixteen F-16 Fighter Jets from the air.
